My first time at Edgbaston Old Church and Gorcott Hall and wow! What can I say… Gorcott Hall is a hidden gem located in Mappleborough Green in Warwickshire. Gorcott Hall consists of a delightful historic house and gardens set amongst stunning countryside.
I started the day in a flat close to Birmingham city centre where Mairi was busy getting married. As Mairi and her family are from Scotland there were many Scottish tocuhes to the wedding. Jacob’s waistcoat was of course Harris Tweed and no Scot would ever party without a full on traditional Ceilida dance!
The couple chose the delightful Edgbaston Old Church for the cermeony complete with live music and lovely readings from friends and family.
After a leisurely drinks reception complete with Bagpiper, Jacob and Mairi entered the Wedding Breakfast for a sumptuous meal. After dinner we had a short couple photo shoot inside Gorcott Hall as well as around the grounds and adjoining fields.
