It’s always an honour photographing a wedding, and in some ways even more so when the wedding is a very small intimate affair. A smaller wedding puts the photographer within the family interaction and requires a fine balance between observer and participant in the day’s proceedings.
Lauren and Andy chose to get ready at The Hotel Indigo right in the heart of town. I’ve photographed many weddings at this location before and it is an amazing venue (and easy to get lost inside!). Complete with a modern interior which fuses Tudor and stylish contemporary, The Hotel Indigo is one of the best places in town. I especially love it’s beautifully maintained courtyard area – perfect for group photos!
After the ceremony at The Henley Room, Lauren and Andy took a stroll around the old town in Stratford-upon-Avon where we had a relaxed portrait session.
