Ilmington has to be one of Warwickshire’s prettiest villages. Set amongst the North Cotswold countryside Ilmington is filled with gorgeous honeycombed stone houses and beautiful cottage gardens. A unique and bucolic location for a country wedding.
Whilst Duncan prepared for the big day at the family home nearby, Emily and her friends decided to get ready at a charming holiday cottage close to the church. The ceremony was held at St Mary’s, a stunning 14th century Cotswold church surrounded by large lime trees.
After the ceremony the couple took their guests to the nearby Orchard for an informal marquee drinks reception followed by a Wedding Breakfast and band evening entertainment at the nearby Ilmington Village Hall.
