Capturing the love, romance and soul

A full day shoot can starts with pure excitement of the bridal preparation through to first dance. All weddings are unique and all clients requirements differ which is why I take a flexible approach to the day.

Getting Ready

It’s about timing and emotion

As an experienced photographer I have developed a sixth sense for when those magical key moments are about to happen. A father seeing his daughter in the wedding dress for the first time or grandparents surprising everyone with a tender moment embracing in the evening. These key moments can last only seconds but they’ll be captured for eternity.

Timing and the decisive moment in wedding photography

It really is all about people

Of course wedding photography is more than just visually documenting the day, it’s about people, your friends and family. Many people don’t like being photographed, however time and time again, when receiving feedback from clients I am told how much they and their guests feel utterly comfortable with me – this is key to effective portrait photography. Clients can feel utterly comfortable with what I do and what I believe in, and it is this which is key to capturing the authenticity of the day naturally.

Captured forever

We live in a digital age, there is no pressure to buy prints as all high resolution fully edited images are supplied on a high quality USB stick. However, I am able to offer a wide range of packages and after wedding services for those clients wanting the highest quality prints, story books and superb professional wedding albums.

It’s all in the details

Every couple I meet spends a lot of time choosing their perfect wedding details for the big day. Therefore, it seems only right to capture the finer details such as shoes, flowers and of course the dress!

Fun and excitement

I find as the formal part of the day turns into the evening, it’s time to capture everyone enjoying themselves. I always recommend a full day shoot for this reason as this allows time for a lot of the relaxed reportage photography to be captured as well as friends and family being photographed enjoying the party.

Capturing the fun of the wedding day

…and yes even modern photographers capture those special formal photos

It’s very easy to fill  a portfolio with all those portrait show pieces, but I also understand that at times, simple traditional wedding photography is required, especially when photographing those all too important formal family group photos.

It really is all about you….

All my clients enjoy a stress free journey from the time of booking all the way to the end of the wedding and the delivery of their photos. I have a very client centred approach to my work and am always at the end of the phone or email to answer any questions and assist with the planning of the day.

Bookings now being taken for 2018, limited availability for 2017 – however there are still bookings available!

I have already taken a lot of bookings for 2017, however please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to accommodate your date. I am now taking bookings for 2018. I am fortunate enough to be in high demand, therefore I tend to get booked up months and in some cases years in advance! During the summer months it is not uncommon for me to receive 10-20 enquiries for the same day. Whoever you want to capture your special day, it is always recommended to get in touch with your short list of photographers as soon as you have booked the wedding ceremony and venue to avoid disappointment.

Please note that images will always be supplied without watermarks/logos. Online, watermarks are used to protect the copyright of my work.
